The Context
Decrackle is a startup building a suite of AI audio products based on speech-to-speech (S2S) technology. Its core offering, real-time Speech Enhancement, removes noise, echo, and hiss from any audio stream via API, with near-zero latency. The product roadmap extends to Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-to-Speech (TTS) voice generation, and two-way Voice Agents.
Like many fast-moving deep-tech companies, Decrackle has a strong product but needed an external, objective read on where it stood in the European market: who it really competed against, which customers to pursue, and where to sell first to increase its market share.
The Challenge
The “audio AI” landscape looks crowded and moves quickly: dozens of well-funded players across text-to-speech, transcription, voice agents, and dubbing, many of them expanding into one another’s territory. Decrackle needed clarity: which of these companies were genuine competitors, which were potential partners, and which mattered only in the future? Where in Europe was the willingness to pay highest, and which customer segments offered the best market entry point? And crucially, all of this had to be delivered in professional, decision-ready language a technical leadership team could act on with confidence.
Zetis’ Solution
Zetis designed and delivered an end-to-end strategic package that took Decrackle from a broad market picture to a focused, defensible go-to-market plan. Working in close iteration with the founder, Zetis built the analysis around a single organising idea, i.e. Decrackle’s defensible “wedge”: audio-cleaning, the one capability that is hardest for competitors to copy and the right feature to lead with.
FeatureS developed:
Market analysis
A sizing of the addressable market across the suite’s four layers, the demand drivers shaping it, and the trends most relevant to Decrackle, all framed as best strategic estimates, with sources and assumptions made explicit.
Competitive landscape
A job-to-be-done map of every relevant player, broken down by product line and verified against official sources, distinguishing true competitors from partners and future watch-list names, and identifying the single direct competitor on the wedge.
Go-to-market strategy
A prioritised plan covering which customer segments to pursue first, which countries to enter, and in what order. Built on an eight-factor country-scoring model that includes, among others, willingness to pay, competition, and market maturity.
Executive presentations & deliverables
Concise, CEO-ready deck and speaker script translating the full analysis into clear decisions on where to enter, what to lead with, who the real competitor is, and what comes next.
Results
The engagement is ongoing, with the core strategy delivered and advisory support continuing. The work has given Decrackle a clear, evidence-based foundation for its European expansion:
4
Strategic decions
A complex landscape distilled into four clear, board-ready choices: where to enter, what to lead with, who to watch, and what comes second
25+
Competitors mapped
Players analysed by product line and verified against official sources, isolating the one true rival on Decrackle’s defensible wedge
+30%
Target pipeline growth
Expected expansion of the qualified sales pipeline as the prioritised go-to-market plan is rolled out across the first target markets
Zetis’ Role
In this project, Zetis acted as strategic partner and market advisor: leading the market and competitive analysis, building the country-prioritisation model, defining the go-to-market strategy, and translating it all into plain, decision-ready materials for the leadership team. Throughout, Zetis combined analytical rigour with intellectual honesty, clearly separating verified facts from informed estimates, and re-verifying competitor intelligence against official sources as the market evolved. The result is a focused, defensible strategy that equips Decrackle into the European market with confidence.
