The Context
MIM is an Italian company operating in the manufacturing sector, with production sites characterized by complex operations and a high need for monitoring of resources, energy consumption, and safety conditions. Like many SMEs in the sector, MIM managed these activities through fragmented and manual processes, making it difficult to have an integrated, real-time view of its operations.
The Challenge
MIM needed a digital tool capable of optimizing the management of its production sites without requiring prohibitive investments or advanced technical expertise. The solutions available on the market were designed primarily for large industrial players and were therefore too costly and complex for the needs of an SME. MIM needed a tailored platform: operationally powerful, intuitive, and easily integrable with its existing systems.
Zetis’ solution
Zetis, in partnership with an external software developer, designed and developed IN-DASH, a tailored digital platform for MIM. The solution integrates advanced project management tools, energy monitoring, and safety control in a single, centralized, and intuitive interface, accessible from desktop, tablet, and mobile.
FeatureS developed:
Interactive dashboard
For the management of project timelines, resources, and operational KPIs, with real-time updates and a simplified view of work progress status.
Advanced reporting
Exportable in PDF and Excel, with automated weekly reports on operational and financial performance.
Integration with Other Business Management Software
To ensure operational continuity and maximize the value of tools already in use within the company.
Energy Consumption Monitoring
Real-time consumption tracking via energy meters, and workplace safety verification through personal protective equipment devices.
Results
The IN-DASH platform is currently in the development and validation phase. Based on the analyses conducted, IN-DASH is designed to deliver the following measurable benefits for MIM:
+25%
Consumption Optimization
Reduction in energy consumption during peak usage periods
+35%
Operational Efficiency
Increase in operational productivity through process automation and intelligent resource management
+40%
Workplace Safety
Improvement in workplace safety through monitoring and automated alerts
Zetis’ Role
In this project, Zetis acted as both technology partner and strategic consultant: guiding the requirements analysis phase, defining the functional requirements and architecture of the platform, coordinating development in partnership with an external software specialist, and supporting MIM at every stage of the journey. The result is a tailored proprietary product, designed to meet the specific needs of the client and scalable to support its future growth.
